48 Haber Ajansı (48HA) - 29.03.2023 - Yaz sezonunun yaklaşmasıyla Bodrum kıyılarında başlayan, "kıyılarda düzenleme" çalışmaları ve diğer konularda Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras'tan açıklamalar geldi.

Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras, Bodrum’un doğal ve kültürel yapısını korumak için Bodrum açısından hayati önemdeki konular hakkında bilgilendirme yapmak üzere basın toplantısı gerçekleştirdi. Aras'ın dikkat çekitği konulardan biri, kıyılara yapılacak müdahalelerde kanunen "yetkizilik" durumu ile "deniz patlıcanı" yani denizlerdeki canlılar, imar, inşaat, kiralar vd. oldu.

Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras, Bodrum Belediye binası makam odasında düzenlediği basın toplantısında ilk bilgilendirmeyi kıyılara serilmek istenen "beyaz kum" olarak adlandırılan kimyasal maddeler konusunda yaptı. Kıyı çalışmalarının, müdahalelerinin doğal yapıyı bozacağına işaret ederek bu tür çalışmalardan vatandaşların kaçınması gerektiğini belirten Aras şunları söyledi;

“Son dönemde kıyılarda beyaz kum kaplama çalışmaları yapılıyor. Kullanılan maddelerin insan sağlığına zararlı olduğu da görülüyor. Ayrıca Bodrum’un kıyı dokusuna da uygun değil. Yapılacak çalışmalar ile ilgili yasal prosedür var. Bu çalışmaları yapmak için Çevre ve Şehircilik Bakanlığı’ndan izin gerekir. Aksi takdirde kıyıya müdahale edilemez, doğal yapısı bozulamaz. Farklı kurumlardan sadece görüş alınabilir, izin alınamaz.”

"Sadece denetim yaparız"

Konu ile ilgili Belediye olarak neler yaptıkları hakkında da bilgiler veren Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras, “Yetkilerimiz dahilinde konu ile ilgili belediyemiz sadece denetim yapar, tespitte bulunur. Bu tespitleri de Çevre Bakanlığı’na ya da Milli Emlak’a iletir” dedi. Kıyıları kullanan ve kıyılara müdahalede bulunan şahıs ve şirketlere de çağrıda bulunan Başkan Aras, “Hiçbir şekilde kıyıya müdahale etmeyiniz. Kıyılarımızın doğal yapısını bozmayınız. Doğanın kendi refleksi dışında herhangi bir müdahale yapılmamalıdır” diye uyarıda da bulundu.

Deniz Palıcanı'nın önemi

Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras, son yıllarda deniz canlılarının yok olmaya yüz tutması sebebiyle bozulan doğal dengeye de dikkat çekti. Aras bu bağlamda, deniz patlıcanı toplanmasıyla ilgili olarak da şunları söyledi;

“Denizlerin kendi kendini temizlemesi için önemli bir canlı türü olan deniz patlıcanının toplanmasına izin vermemeliyiz. Denizlerin biyoçeşitliliğini bozmamalıyız. Turgutreis bölgesinde deniz patlıcanı toplandığı bilgileri geliyor. Bilinçsizce yapılan bu avlar, doğal dengeyi bozacak ve birçok canlı türünün neslinin tüketmesine sebep olacak.”

Aras ayrıca, denizler için çok önemli olan deniz patlıcanı avının engellenmesine yönelik tedbirlerin alınması için Tarım Bakanlığı’na da çağrıda bulundu.

Kaçak yapılaşma

Basın toplantısının sonunda basın mensuplarının sorularını da yanıtlayan Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras, 2018 İmar Affına da atıfta bulunarak "kaçak yapılaşma", "doğal yapıyı koruma", "belediyenin kaçak yapılar üzerindeki yetki ve sorumlulukları", "Bodrum’daki ev kiralarının artışı", nüfus artışıyla bağlantılı olarak "su ihtiyacının karşılanamaması" gibi vatandaşlar ve Bodrum için asıl hayati önemde olan pek çok konuda görüşlerini basın mensuplarıyla paylaştı.

Aras also called on the Ministry of Agriculture to take measures to prevent sea eggplant fishing, which is very important for the seas.
