23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı kutlama programı, Bodrum Belediye Meydanı’nda Atatürk Anıtı’na çelenk sunma töreni ile başladı. Törende İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürü Bülent Aldal, çocuklarla birlikte Atatürk Anıtı'na müdürlüğün çelengini sundu. Saygı duruşunda bulunulması ve İstiklal Marşı'nın okunması ile sona eren törenin ardından ise eski otogardan başlayarak Bodrum Kalesi’nde son bulan kortej düzenlendi.

Bodrum Kalesi Kuzey Hendeği’nde devam eden 23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı kutlama programında öğrencilerin hazırladığı gösteriler ilgiyle izlenirken törene, Bodrum Kaymakamı Bilgehan Bayar, Bodrum İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürü Bülent Aldal, Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras, Bodrum Cumhuriyet Başsavcısını vekaleten Savcı Emrah Yıldırım, Garnizon Komutanı Albay Ertan Benli, daire amirleri, siyasi parti ve STK temsilcileri, gaziler, öğrenciler, öğretmenler ve vatandaşlar katıldı.

Garaova Tarım Kampı
Bodrum Belediyesi Garaova Tarım Parkı’nda Bodrum Belediyesi’nce düzenlenen 23 Nisan Kolektif Çocuk Festivali’nde ise çocuklar tiyatrodan, dans gösterilerine, farklı eğitici atölyelerden palyaço gösterilerine kadar renkli görüntüler eşliğinde gün boyu eğlendi.
Yaklaşık 2 bin kişinin katıldığı etkinlikte konuşan Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Aras, “Bizlere bugünleri yaşatan başta Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk ve silah arkadaşları olmak üzere tüm şehit ve gazilerimize şükran ve minnetlerimizi sunuyoruz” diyerek başladığı konuşmasına şöyle devam etti:
“Ulu Önderimiz Atatürk’ün bizlere miras bıraktığı bu vatana sahip çıkarak O’nun ilkeleri ışığında hep birlikte ilerleyeceğiz. Çocuklarımızı çağdaş ve modern dünyamızda bilimin ışığında yetişmeleri için var gücümüzle çalışacağız. Ata’mızın onlara armağan ettiği 23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramlarını kutluyorum.”
Garaova Tarım Park’ta akşam saatlerine kadar süren ve renkli görüntülerin yaşandığı Kollektif Çocuk Şenliğine Başkan Aras’ın yanı sıra belediye başkan yardımcıları, CHP ve İYİ Parti İlçe Örgütleri ve çok sayıda vatandaş katıldı. Başkan Aras daha sonra çocuklarla atölyelere katılıp onlarla zaman geçirdi.

Hatay Dostluk Kenti
Bodrum Belediyesi’nce deprem bölgesinde Hatay ve Malatya’da kurulan dostluk kentlerinde de çocuklar için çeşitli etkinlikler düzenlendi.
Şarkılar eşliğinde birçok etkinliğin düzenlendiği Bodrum Belediyesi Hatay Arsuz Dostluk Kenti’nde, “Bodrum Tek Yürek ve İyilik Atölyesi” gönüllülerince yapılarak gönderilen uçurtmalardan 150 tanesi buradaki çocuklara, geri kalanları ise bölgedeki köylerdeki çocuklara dağıtıldı.
Gün boyu belediye personelleri ve gönüllülerin hazırladığı etkinliklere katılan depremzede çocuklar gönüllerince eğlendi.

Öte yandan Bodrum Belediyesi Hatay Arsuz Dostluk Kenti’nde ki kreşin açılış gününde çocukların yaptığı resimler ise 23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı kutlamaları kapsamında Bodrum Kalesi Haluk Elbe Sanat Galerisi’nde açılan sergide beğeniye sunuldu.

The 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebration program started with a wreath laying ceremony at the Atatürk Monument in Bodrum Municipality Square. At the ceremony, District Director of National Education Bülent Aldal presented the directorate's wreath to the Atatürk Monument with the children. After the ceremony, which ended with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, the cortege was held, starting from the old bus station and ending at Bodrum Castle.
While the demonstrations prepared by the students in the celebration program of the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day in Bodrum Castle North Trench were watched with interest, Bodrum District Governor Bilgehan Bayar, Mayor Ahmet Aras, Prosecutor Emrah Yıldırım, acting as Bodrum Chief Public Prosecutor, Garrison Commander Colonel Ertan Benli, District National Education Manager Bülent Aldal, department heads, representatives of political parties and NGOs, veterans, students, teachers and citizens attended.
Garaova Agriculture Camp
At the 23 April Collective Children's Festival organized by the Bodrum Municipality at the Bodrum Municipality Garaova Agriculture Park, the children had fun all day long, accompanied by colorful images from theater to dance performances, from different educational workshops to clown shows.
Speaking at the event attended by approximately 2 thousand people, Bodrum Mayor Aras continued his speech by saying, "We offer our gratitude and gratitude to all our martyrs and veterans, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, who made us live today."
“We will advance together in the light of his principles by protecting this homeland that our Great Leader Atatürk left us as a legacy. We will do our best to raise our children in the light of science in our contemporary and modern world. I congratulate the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which our Ata gave them." They sang songs with the children who were next to them on the stage.
In addition to Mayor Aras, deputy mayors, CHP and IYI Party District Organizations and many citizens attended the Collective Children's Festival, which lasted until the evening hours in Garaova Agriculture Park, where colorful images were experienced.
President Aras then attended workshops with the children and spent time with them.
Hatay Friendship City
Various activities were organized for children in friendship cities established by the Bodrum Municipality in Hatay and Malatya in the earthquake zone.
In Bodrum Municipality Hatay Arsuz Friendship City, where many activities are held accompanied by songs, 150 of the kites made by the volunteers of the "Bodrum One Heart and Kindness Workshop" were distributed to the children here and the rest to the children in the villages in the region.
The earthquake survivors, who participated in the activities organized by the municipality staff and volunteers throughout the day, had fun to their heart's content.

On the other hand, the pictures made by children on the opening day of the kindergarten in Bodrum Municipality Hatay Arsuz Friendship City were presented to the appreciation in the exhibition opened in Bodrum Castle Haluk Elbe Art Gallery as part of the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations.
