Bodrum Kent Konseyi Su Çalışma Grubu, Bodrum Belediyesi Trafo Kafe’de Bodrum'un su sorunuyla ilgili "Sık Sık Patlayan DSİ İsale Hattı ve Bodrum’un Derinleşen Su Sorunu" başlıklı basın açıklaması toplantısı düzenledi. Bodrum'da sık sık patlayan ana isale hatları nedeniyle günlerce su alamayan bölgelerde artık dayanılmaz hale gelen su sorunu ile ilgili ilk sözü Bodrum Kent Konseyi Su Çalışma Grubu üyelerinden Gürol İnan aldı. İnan, Bodrum'da her yıl su ihtiyacının 1 milyon metreküp arttığını belirterek, "Borular patlamasa da suyumuz yetmemektedir" dedi. Gürol İnan sözlerini şöyle sürdürdü;

"Bodrum’a Geyik Barajı, Mumcular Barajı, Çamköy ve diğer kuyulardan yılda yaklaşık 22,5 milyon metreküp su sağlanabilmektedir. Tahakkuk eden miktar ise 17,8 milyon metreküptür. Oysa Bodrum’un su ihtiyacı 44,4 milyon metreküptür. Her yıl ihtiyaç 1 milyon metreküp seviyelerinde artmaktadır. Borular patlamasa da suyumuz yetmemektedir. Su arzı sağlanması konusu DSİ uhdesindedir. Ayrıca mevcut ana isale hattı yıllık 31,5 milyon m3 suyu iletme kapasitesindedir. Bu nedenle de yeni ana isale hattı ihtiyacı vardır."

Termik santraller

Bodrum'a su sağlayan barajlar ve kuyularda çekilen tonlarca suyun termik satrallerin soğutulmasında kullanıldığına dikkat çeken Gürol İnan, "Su Tahsisleri Hakkında Yönetmeliğin 7’nci maddesi gereği birinci seviyede öncelik içme ve kullanma suyunun karşılanmasıdır. Enerji üretimi ve sınai su ihtiyaçları dördüncü öncelik sırasındadır. Geyik Barajı ve kuyulardan termik santrallere su verilmesi derhal durdurulmalıdır" dedi.

DSİ'den talepler

DSİ'den talepleri de dile getiren Bodrum Kent Konseyi Su Çalışma Grubu üyesi Gürol İnan, sözlerini şöyle sürdürdü;

"Halen yıllık 29,5 milyon metreküp olan içme suyu tahsis miktarının, ilgili yönetmelikteki hükme uygun şekilde önceliğin içme suyuna verilerek, asıl güncel ihtiyaç miktarı olan yıllık 44,5 milyon metreküpe ivedilikle yükseltilmesini talep ediyoruz. Cumhurbaşkanlığı ve DSİ yatırım programında olan günlük 40 bin metreküp kapasiteli Güvercinlik İçme Suyu Arıtma Tesisi 2. Etap inşasına ivedilikle başlanmasını talep ediyoruz. MUSKİ ile ana isale hattı CTP borularının yenilenmesi hususunda, HDPE borularda olduğu gibi uzlaşı sağlanmasını talep ediyoruz."

MUSKİ’den talepler

Bodrum Kent Konseyi Su Çalışma Grubu üyesi Gürol İnan, DSİ ve ilgili bakanlık ile müzakere kapılarının daima açık tutulması gerektiğine dikkat çekerek konuşmasını şöyle sürdürdü;

"Su tasarrufu için tedbirler alınmalıdır. Su kullanımında adil kullanım hakkı dışındaki aşırı tüketimlerde birkaç kademeli olarak caydırıcı fiyat uygulamalarına geçilmelidir; su tüketimi bu yolla bir miktar dizginlenecektir. Halkımızın da su tüketimi konusunda daha bilinçli ve dikkatli olması için gerekli her türlü çalışma yapılmalıdır."

Bodrum Kent Konseyi Su Çalışma Grubu üyesi Gürol İnan, Bodrum'da mutlaka ama mutlaka su tasarrufuna gidilmesi gerektiğine vurgu yaparak, "Bodrum Belediyesi meclis gündemine getirdiğimiz Yağmur Suyu Hasatı ile ilgili karar alınması veya mevcut yönetmeliğin uygulamasını ve denetlenmesini, konut ve sitelerde havuz konusuna sınırlandırma ve denetim getirilmesini bekliyoruz. Bodrum Kent Konseyi Başkanı Arif Yılmaz da şunları vurguladı;

"Su sorununa çözüm ararken başkalarının da yaşam hakkını kısıtlamamamız lazım. Artık büyümememiz lazım. Taşıma kapasitelerimizin dolduğunu meslek odası temsilcilerimizin, en yüksek perdeden söylemelerini bekliyoruz."
