48 Haber Ajansıı (GHA) - 15.09.2023 - Kos ile Bodrum Belediyesi iş birliğinde Kumbahçe Mahallesi’nde Dostluk Konseri gerçekleştirildi.
25 Ağustos 2023 günü Kos’ta gerçekleşen “Şarkılarımız” Bodrum Kos Dostluk Konseri’nin ikincisi Kumbahçe Mahallesi Halikarnas konser alanında yapıldı. Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras ile Kos Belediye Başkanı Theodosis Nikitaras yaptıkları konuşmalarda barış, dostluk ve kardeşlik mesajları verdi.
İki beldiye başkanı karşılıklı iyi niyet mektubu imzalandı. Bodrum Belediyesi Kültür A.Ş., Kültür ve Sosyal Hizmetler Müdürlüğü ve Basın Yayın Halkla İlişkiler Müdürlüğünce organize edilen konser etkinliğine; Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras, Kos Belediye Başkanı Theodosis Nikitaras’ın yanı sıra gazeteci, belgesel yapımcısı Nebil Özgentürk, Bodrum’dan ve Kos’tan belediye başkan yardımcıları, meclis üyeleri, siyasi parti temsilcileri ile üyeleri, STK ve Oda temsilcileri, vatandaşlar katıldı.

Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras, açılış konuşmasında konser etkinliği projesinin ortaya çıkışından bahsederken Kos Belediye Başkanı Nikitaras ile ortak bir projeye imza attıklarını belirtti. Başkan ve ekibine teşekkür eden Başkan Aras, "Bu etkinlik sadece bir konserden ibaret değil, bu birlikteliğin derinliğinde çok önemli prensipler, vasıflar var. Bunlar nedir? Tabii ki birincilikle barış… Ata’mızın bizlere emanet ettiği ‘Yurtta sulh cihanda sulh’ ilkesidir" dedi.

Kos Belediye Başkanı Theodosis Nikitaras de şunları söyledi;
"Gerçekten böyle anılar yaşayacağımı hiç düşünemezdim. Kardeşlik, dostluk ve barış…Bu konser kararını aldığımda küçük tedirginliklerim vardı. Çok düşündüm ama geliştikçe gördüm ki herkes gerçekten çok yardımcı oldu. Biz burada bir kez daha gördük ki hep beraber, bir olabiliyoruz. Ve ümit ediyorum ki bu konser her sene sürekli yapılacak. Ve altına imza atmak istiyorum ki biz gerçekten biriz ve sürekli barış içinde yaşayacağız."

Yöresel oyunların da oynandığı gecede Bodrum’dan yerel sanatçı Didem Kasal Esentürk ve Kos’tan Lefteris Stefanopoulos tarafından "Boğazın En Dar Yeri" şarkısı seslendirildi.
Barış ve kardeşlik duygularını yaygınlaştırmak ve devamlılığına katkı sunmak amacıyla gerçekleştirildiği açıklanan Bodrum Kos Dostluk Konseri plaket ve çiçek takdimleri ile son buldu.

Friendship concert in Bodrum
Friendship Concert was held in Kumbahçe District in cooperation with Kos and Bodrum Municipalities.
The second of the "Our Songs" Bodrum Kos Friendship Concert, which took place in Kos on August 25, 2023, was held at the Kumbahçe District Halikarnas concert area. Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras and Kos Mayor Theodosis Nikitaras gave messages of peace, friendship and brotherhood in their speeches.
The two mayors signed a mutual letter of goodwill. The concert event organized by Bodrum Municipality Culture Inc., Directorate of Culture and Social Services and Directorate of Press and Public Relations; Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras, Kos Mayor Theodosis Nikitaras, as well as vice mayors from Bodrum and Kos, council members, political party representatives and members, NGO and Chamber representatives, and citizens attended.
While talking about the emergence of the concert event project in his opening speech, Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras stated that they signed a joint project with Kos Mayor Nikitaras. Thanking the President and his team, Mayor Aras said, "This event is not just a concert, there are very important principles and qualities in the depth of this unity. What are these? Of course, peace comes first... It is the principle of 'Peace at home, peace in the world' that our Atatürk entrusted to us." .
Kos Mayor Theodosis Nikitaras also said;
"I really could never have imagined that I would have such memories. Brotherhood, friendship and peace... I had a little anxiety when I made the decision for this concert. I thought a lot, but as it progressed, I realized that everyone was really helpful. Here, we saw once again that we can all be one together. And I hope "This concert will be held every year. And I want to sign that we are truly one and will always live in peace."
At the night where local games were also played, the song "The Narrowest Place of the Bosphorus" was performed by local artist Didem Kasal Esentürk from Bodrum and Lefteris Stefanopoulos from Kos.
The Bodrum Kos Friendship Concert, which was announced to be held with the aim of spreading the feelings of peace and brotherhood and contributing to its continuity, ended with the presentation of plaques and flowers.
