Bodrum belediyesi kuruluşunun işletmeci olduğu ana okullarının ücretleri öğrenci başına 9 bin 500 TL'den 17 bin 500 TL'ye yükseltildi. Öğrenci velilerine mesajla bildireln 100'de yüze yaklaşan bu artış üzerine bugün Bodrum Belediyesi önünde eylem yapıldı.

Öğrenci velileri üzerlerinde, "Belediye kreşi 17 bin 500 TL olamaz", "Kreşler lüks değil her ailenin hakkı" yazan beraberlerinde getidikleri pankartları yerlere sererken, uygulamaya itiraz ettiler. Asgari ücretin 17 bin TL olduğu bir ülkede kreş ücretinin 17 bin 500 TL'ye çıkartılamayacağını belirten veliler zam kararının geri alınmasını istediler. Yapılan zammın sosyal belediyecilik anlayışına aykırı olduğunu söyleyen aileler yasalardaki hükümlere de dikkat çekip gerekirse yasal yollardn da haklarını açrayacaklarını açıkladılar.

Bodrum Belediyesi önünde gerçekleştirilen eylemden sonra Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Tamer Mandalinci ailelerin yanına gelerek açıklamalarda bulundu. Mandalinci, "Orta yolda buluşacağız" dedi.

Bodrum’da yaşayan, çalışan anne ve babalar çok daha uygun fiyata kreş hizmetlerinden faydalanacak. Çocuklarımız, kaliteli eğitim hizmeti almaya devam edecek. Atacağımız tüm adımlarda müzakereyi baştan yapacağız ki verilen kararlar daha nitelikli, doğru adımlar olsun. Belediye sizin için var. Belediye sizin imkanlarınızla beraber bu hizmetleri veriyor. Sizlerin katkılarıyla yaptığımız görevlerde size rağmen asla bir şey yapmayacağız. Ama kurumun da ayakta kalmasını sağlamak benim görevim. Kasım ayında sizlerle aynı masada müzakerede buluşacağız. Orta yolu bulacak, mutlulukla ayrılacağız. Önümüzde güzel günler var. Sıkıntılı ve umutsuz baktığımız bir süreç olmayacak. Sizin mutsuzluğunuz bizim de mutsuzluğumuzdur. Hem sizlerin hem kurumun hukukunu korumak benim birinci görevim.”

Parents protest, mayor makes a statement

The nearly 100% increase in the fees of municipal kindergartens in Bodrum has caused parents to take to the streets. Mayor Mandalinci also made a statement. See what he said?

The fees of kindergartens operated by the Bodrum Municipality have been increased from 9,500 TL to 17,500 TL per student. A protest was held in front of the Bodrum Municipality today after this increase, which was close to 100 percent, was notified to the parents of the students via messages.

The parents of the students objected to the application by laying down banners that they brought with them and read, "Municipal kindergarten cannot be 17,500 TL" and "Nursery is not a luxury, it is every family's right". Stating that the kindergarten fee cannot be increased to 17,500 TL in a country where the minimum wage is 17,000 TL, the parents demanded that the increase decision be reversed. The families, who said that the increase was against the understanding of social municipality, also drew attention to the provisions in the law and announced that they would seek legal remedies if necessary.

After the demonstration in front of Bodrum Municipality, Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci came to the families and made statements. Mandalinci said, "We will meet in the middle."

We will continue to bring our children together with the beautiful services of the municipality with general happiness. Mothers and fathers living and working in Bodrum will benefit from much more affordable nursery services. Our children will continue to receive quality education services. We will negotiate from the beginning in all the steps we will take so that the decisions made will be more qualified and correct steps. The municipality is there for you. The municipality provides these services with your means. We will never do anything despite you in the tasks we carry out with your contributions. But it is my duty to ensure that the institution remains standing. We will meet at the same table with you in negotiations in November. We will find the middle ground and leave happily. There are good days ahead. It will not be a process that we look at with trouble and hopelessness. Your unhappiness is also our unhappiness. Protecting the rights of both you and the institution is my first duty.”
