48 Haber Ajansı (GHA) - 16 Nisan 2025 - İş insanı Bülent Kaya’nın babası, Azka Otel’in kurucusu, müteahhit ve turizm yatırımcısı Aziz Kaya yaşamını yitirdi.

Turizm sektörünün önde gelen isimlerinden, iş insanı Bülent Kaya’nın babası, Azka Otel’in kurucusu duayen iş insanı Aziz Kaya Bodrum’da yaşamını yitirdi.

83 yaşında vefat eden Aziz Kaya gençlik yıllarında başta İstanbul olmak üzere müteahhitlik faaliyetlerinde bulundu. Bodrum turizmine de önemli yatırımlar yapan ve modern tesis ile turizm pazarlaması konularında ilkleri gerçekleştiren yatırımcılar arasında yer alan Aziz Kaya bir süredir Bodrum’da özel bir hastanede tedavi görüyordu.

12 Nisan 2025'den bu yana yoğun bakımda tedavisine devam edilen Aziz Kaya'nın bu sabah saatlerinde yaşamını yitirdiği duyuruldu. Bodrum turizminin en bilinen markaları arasında yer alan ve sosyal yaşamdaki faaliyetleriyle bilinen Azka otelin isim babası ve kurucusu olan Aziz Kaya 3 çocuk babasıydı.

Aziz Kaya’nın cenazesi, yarın Bitez Gülsevim Rüştü Kaynak Camii’nd ikindi namazını takiben kılınacak cenaze namazı sonrası Bitez Mezarlığı’nda toprağa verilecek.

Cancer that burned a family took him too

19-year-old Levent Kaan Bıçakcı, whose father died of cancer and whose mother was receiving cancer treatment, lost his life to cancer. Bıçakcı was receiving treatment for soft tissue cancer.

Levent Kaan Bıçakcı, a 19-year-old member of the Bıçakcılar family from Bodrum, had learned a while ago that he had soft tissue cancer. Levent Kaan Bıçakcı, who struggled to overcome the disease and began treatment, was continuing his treatment at a private hospital in Bodrum. However, the sad news came today and it was announced that Bıçakcı could not hold on to life.

19-year-old Levent Kaan Bıçakcı's father, a senior member of the CHP Bodrum organization, former district secretary, and much-loved for his combative nature, democracy and good personhood, Levent Bıçakcı, lost his life in 2024 due to pancreatic cancer. It was reported that Bıçakcı's mother Ayşe Bıçakcı was also treated for breast and lung cancer. After his son Levent Kaan Bıçakcı was diagnosed with soft tissue cancer, he began to fight the disease and intensified his activities to hold on to life more tightly.

The sad news came from a private hospital in Bodrum today. It was announced that 19-year-old Levent Kaan Bıçakcı had passed away. Levent Kaan Bıçakcı's funeral will be held after the noon prayer at Bodrum Kerem Aydınlar Mosque on Friday, April 4, 2025, and he will be buried in Ortakent Cemetery.

Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci shared the following views on the news of Levent Kaan Bıçakcı's death;

"After Levent Bıçakcı, who we lost last year and gave his years to the Republican People's Party, this time we are deeply saddened by the loss of his son Levent Kaan Bıçakcı at a very young age. He left behind an indescribable pain and a great void. I wish God's mercy upon Kaan, and patience and condolences to all his relatives and loved ones, especially the Bıçakçı family."

CHP Bodrum District Chairman Tuna Işın shared the following message after Levent Kaan Bıçakcı, a member of the board of directors;

"Following the loss of our previous District Secretary Levent Bıçakçı, we have experienced a heartbreaking pain today. We are deeply saddened by the loss of his son Kaan Bıçakçı at a young age. We wish patience and condolences to his family and loved ones, and to our entire organization."
