Antalya Kent Konseyi Sağlık Çalışma Grubu üyeleri, yaz ile birlikte site ve otellerin yüzme havuzlarının temizlik ve denetimi hakkında rapor hazırladı. Sağlık Çalışma Grubu Başkanı Dr. Ozan Uzkut moderatörlüğündeki toplantının ardından hazırlanan 'Havuzların Temizliği ve Denetimi' adlı raporda, yüzme havuzlarından bulaşabilecek hastalıklara dikkat çekildi.

Site yönetimi sorumlu

Raporda, lejyonella, sarılık ve mantar gibi birçok hastalığın havuzdan geçebileceği vurgulandı. Havuz denetiminin öneminin anlatılan raporda, otel havuzlarının Sağlık Bakanlığı'nca denetlendiği belirtildi. Ticari amaçlı kullanılmayan site, konut havuzlarının denetiminin bakanlık ve belediye sorumluluğunda olmadığı aktarılan raporda, şu görüşlere yer verildi:

"Site ve konut havuzları hiçbir kurum tarafından denetlenmemektedir. Site havuzları ile ilgili bütün sorumluluk site yönetimine verilmiştir. Havuzda oluşabilecek bir hastalıktan direkt site yönetimi sorumlu tutulup, cezalandırılabilmektedir. Bu nedenle site yönetimleri, havuzların temizliği için belirli aralıklarda numune aldırıp, analizi yaptırmak zorundadır."

Site havuzlarının kontrolü ve denetimi için yasal düzenlemeye ihtiyaç olduğu kaydedilen raporda, "Antalya'da bulunan bütün havuzların etkin denetimi için yeni bir uygulama geliştirilmelidir. İklim değişikliği nedeniyle kuraklık tehlikesine karşı, havuz yapımında belediyelerce kriterler getirilmelidir. Yeni hastalıkların olası artışının olabileceği göz önüne alındığında, bu sorunun hastalıklar yayılmadan çözülmesi gerekmektedir" ifadeleri kullanıldı.

Ölümcül olabilir

Site yönetiminin sorumluluklarını anlatan Dr. Ozan Uzkut, şunları söyledi:

"Site havuzlarından el-ayak hastalığı, lejyonella, salmonella gibi bakteriyel, ishal yapıcı etkileri olan hastalıklar yayılabiliyor. Bazıları ölümcül olabilir. Site havuzuna girilmesinden, denetiminden, temizliğinden, site yönetimi sorumlu. Site yönetimi her hafta analiz yaptırmazsa, bu hastalıklar ürer ve insanlar hasta olursa; site yönetimi sorumludur. Şikayet halinde site yönetimi cezalandırılabilir, tazminat ödemek zorunda kalabilir. Otel havuzları, Sağlık İl Müdürlüğü'nce denetleniyor. Birçok sitede bulunan havuzların denetimini, site yönetimi ve özel laboratuvar şirketleri gerçekleştiriyor. Site havuzlarında tedbir alınmazsa, hastalık bulaşırsa, şikayet halinde site yönetimi büyük tazminat ödeyebilir. Site yönetimi her hafta tahlillerini yaptırmak zorunda."

The estate administration can be held responsible and punished directly for a disease that may occur in the pool. Therefore, the estate administrations have to have samples taken and analyzed at certain intervals for the cleaning of the pools."

In the report, which noted that there is a need for legal regulation for the control and supervision of the site pools, "A new practice should be developed for the effective control of all pools in Antalya. Criteria should be brought by the municipalities in the construction of pools against the danger of drought due to climate change. Considering the possible increase of new diseases, "This problem needs to be solved before diseases spread," it said.

Explaining the responsibilities of the site management, Dr. Ozan Uzkut said:

"Bacterial and diarrhea-causing diseases such as hand-foot disease, legionella, salmonella can spread from the site pools. Some of them can be fatal. Site management is responsible for entering the site pool, its inspection and cleaning. If the site management does not make an analysis every week, these diseases will breed and people will get sick. In case of a complaint, the site management is liable. In case of a complaint, the site management may be penalized and have to pay compensation. The hotel pools are inspected by the Provincial Health Directorate. The site management and private laboratory companies are inspecting the pools in many sites. In the event of an accident, the site management can pay a large compensation. The site management has to have their analyzes done every week."
