Sağlık Bakanı Fahrettin Koca, sosyal medya hesabından yaptığı paylaşımda 9 kişide Eris varyantının görüldüğünü açıkladı. Bakan Koca, "Yurtdışı temaslı ve aynı ildeler. Mevcut tedbirlere ve gündelik hayatımıza devam edeceğiz" ifadelerini kullandı.
Bakan Koca'nın Twitter'dan yaptığı paylaşım şöyle:
"Endişe konusu sayılmayacak bir gelişme. Hasta etme gücünün (virülansının) düşüklüğünü bildiğimiz Eris varyantı Referans Laboratuvarımızda yapılan incelemede 9 kişide görüldü. Yurtdışı temaslı ve aynı ildeler. Mevcut tedbirlere ve gündelik hayatımıza devam edeceğiz.
Durum başka ülkelerde yaygın, bizde de ortaya çıkması muhtemeldi. Büyüklerimizi, kronik hastalarımızı koruyacağız.
Eris varyantı veya eris virüsü, Dünya Sağlık Örgütü tarafından takip edilmesi gerektiği bildirilen ve omicron belirtileri ile benzerlik gösteren Covid 19'un mutasyonu uğramış versiyonu olarak ifade ediliyor."

Eris variant was seen in 9 people in Turkey
Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca announced in his post on his social media account that the Eris variant was seen in 9 people. Minister Koca said, "They have contacts from abroad and are in the same provinces. We will continue with the current measures and our daily lives."

This is a development that should not be considered a cause for concern. The Eris variant, which we know has low virulence, was seen in 9 people in the examination carried out in our Reference Laboratory. They have international contacts and are in the same province. We will continue with the current measures and our daily lives.
The situation is common in other countries, and it was likely to occur in us as well. We will protect our elders and chronically ill patients.
Eris variant or Eris virus is expressed as the mutated version of Covid 19, which is reported to be followed by the World Health Organization and is similar to omicron symptoms.
What are the symptoms?
EG.5, (Eris), has recently become the predominant Covid strain in the US, with the CDC estimating that it accounts for more than 20% of new cases.
