Gümüşlük Haber Ajansı (GHA) - 26 Ekim 2021 - MUÇEP'den Bargilya Tuzlası eylemi

Milas sınırları içinde yer alan Bargilya Tuzlası'na yapılmak istenen turizm yatırımının durdudurulması için çağrı yapıldı.

Çeşitli kuş türlerinin ile endemik türlerin barındığı sulak Bargilya Tuzlası alanına yapılmak istenen turizm kenti projesine Çevre ve Şehircilik Bakanlığı, olumlu Çevresel Etki Değerlendirme (ÇED) raporu verdi. MUÇEP de, projenin yürütmesinin durdurulması için dava açtı.

Muğla Çevre Platformu (MUÇEP) tarafından açılan davada, bilirkişi keşif yapacak. Keşif öncesi bölgede bir araya gelen MUÇEP Milas Meclisi üyeleri destek çağrısında bulundu. MUÇEP Milas Meclisi Eş Sözcüsü Neşe Tuncer, “Bin yıllardır süregelen yaşam kültürünün yok olmaması için herkesi göreve davet ediyoruz” dedi.

MUÇEP Milas Meclisi Eş Sözcüsü Neşe Tuncer, Bargilya Tuzlası önünde düzenlenen etkinlikte şunları söyledi:

“Binlerce yıllık ortak yaşam kültürü güz döngüsüne girerken, bu döngünün önümüzdeki yıllarda da devam edip edemeyeceği konusunda kaygılıyız. İnsanı insan yapan gözle, yani doğal ve kültürel perspektifle baktığımızda şunu görüyoruz; masaları başında, odalarında oturan kimileri bu nadir coğrafyayı betonlaştırmak, sularını kirletmek, hem doğasını, hem de binlerce yıllık doğal yaşam kültürünü yok etmek istiyorlar.”

Bargilya Saltpan action by MUÇEP

A call was made to stop the tourism investment intended to be made in the Bargilya Saltpan, which is located within the borders of Milas.

The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization gave a positive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the tourism city project that is intended to be built in the wet Bargilya Saltpan area, where various bird species and endemic species are sheltered. MUÇEP also filed a lawsuit to stay the execution of the project.

In the lawsuit filed by the Muğla Environment Platform (MUÇEP), an expert will make a discovery. MUÇEP Milas Assembly members, who came together in the region before the discovery, called for support. MUÇEP Milas Assembly Co-Spokesperson Neşe Tuncer said, “We invite everyone to duty so that the culture of life that has been going on for thousands of years is not destroyed.”

MUÇEP Milas Assembly Co-Spokesperson Neşe Tuncer said the following at the event held in front of Bargilya Saltpan:

“As the thousands of years of common living culture enter the fall cycle, we are concerned about whether this cycle can continue in the coming years. When we look with the eye that makes people human, that is, from a natural and cultural perspective, we see that; Some, sitting at their desks or in their rooms, want to cement this rare geography, pollute its waters, and destroy both its nature and its thousands of years of natural life culture.”
