Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Dr. Osman Gürün katıldığı bir televizyon programında Bodrum’da Yarımadasında devam eden inşaatlarda ilgili açıklamalarda bulundu. Başkan Gürün “Bodrum adeta bir işgale uğramış durumda. Bir evin bir arabanın kaç kişi alacağı bellidir. Ama Bodrum’da devamlı bir inşaat var. Benim şuanda yetkim olsa Bodrum’da inşaatları durdururum” dedi.
Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Dr. Osman Gürün katıldığı bir televizyon programında, Bodrum’daki inşaatlardan, Gökova Körfezine kadar değişik konularda açıklamalarda bulundu.
Başkan Gürün: 3 Milyar 600 Milyon Liralık Yatırım Yaptık
İstanbul’un 2,5 katı büyüklüğündeki bir alana hizmet verdiklerini belirten Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Dr. Osman Gürün “Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi olarak il genelinde 3 milyar 660 milyon liralık yatırım yapmışız. Büyükşehir Belediyesi olduğumuz günden bu yana yaptığımız yatırım. Alt yapı çalışmaları yapmışız.. Asla şikayetimiz yok. Geçmişten gelen sorunları çözmek için uğraşıyoruz. 400 km’lik yolumuzu çağdaş hale getirdik. İstanbul’un 2,5 katı büyüklüğünde alan büyüklüğümüz var. Akdeniz’de ki 9 ülkenin ülke kıyı uzunluğundan daha fazla kıyı uzunluğumuz var. Bunların hepsine baktığınızda Muğla’nın bir ucundan diğer ucuna 4 saatte gidiyorsunuz. Ve bu coğrafyada alt yapı çalışması yapıyorsunuz” dedi.
Gürün: Bodrum Adeta İşgale Uğramış Durumda
Bodrum’a 1 milyar 460 milyon liralık alt yapı yatırımı yapıldığını belirten Başkan Gürün “Alt yapı çalışmalarına Bodrum’da devam ediyoruz. Bodrum şahane mükemmel. Herkes Bodrum’a gelmek istiyor. Acaba Bodrum’a Bodrum’un değerleriyle yaşamaya mı geliyorlar. Yoksa değerli bir Bodrum’a kendi değerlerini empoze etmeye mi geliyor. Bodrum adeta bir işgale uğramış durumda. Bir evin bir arabanın kaç kişi alacağı bellidir. Ama Bodrum’da devamlı bir inşaat var. Şimdi diyorlar ki imar verme. Daha önce bölük pörçük belde belediyeleri, diğer belediyeler hepsi kendine göre vakti imar yapmış. Buraların olmazsa olmazlarının başında su geliyor. İkincisi kanalizasyon. Üçüncüsü ulaşım. Şuanda ulaşım kilitlenmiş durumda. Biz Bodrum’a 1 milyar 460 milyon liralık alt yapı yatırımı yapıyoruz. Bodrum’un yüzde 41’inde kanalizasyon vardı. Biz bugün yaptıklarımızla yüzde 90’nın üzerine çıkıyoruz” şeklinde konuştu.
Başkan Gürün: İmar Yetkisi Bakanlığa Ait
Bodrum’da sürekli inşaatların yapıldığını belirten Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Osman Gürün “inşaatların devam etmesi yeni sorunları gündeme getiriyor” dedi. Başkan Gürün “Bodrum’da su ile ilgili konu enteresan bir şey. Biz devraldığımızda 2015 yılında su ile ilgili konuda abone sayısı 75 bin 40 adetti. Su sarfiyatı 7 milyon 810 bin 420 m3’dü. 2022 yılında abone sayısı 93 bin 593’e çıktı. Su sarfiyatı 11 milyon 36 bin m3’e çıkmış. Su yetmiyor. Biz problemin arkasından koşarak ona yetişmeye çalışıyorum. Çöze çöze. Ama önde sürekli yeni inşaat sürekli yeni abone ve sürekli yeni tüketim oluyor. Böyle bir şehircilik olmaz. Benim şuanda yetkim olsa Bodrum’da inşaatları durdururum. Gelecek imar planına göre, gelecek olan nüfus, ulaşım, su, kanalizasyonu nasıl yapacağıma hangi kaynakla yapacağıma karar veririm. Onları ikbal edebilecek durumda ise gel kardeşim sen burada inşaatını yap derim. Bakanlık bunu yapabilir. Bodrum’da imarı durdurdum. Tekrar tümüyle değerlendireceğim. Duruma göre imarı yeniden yapacağım. Onun imarını inşaat ruhsatını da alt yapıyla diğer işler bittiğinde vereceğim diyebilir. Radikal bir çözüm. Bodrum’da suyun yetmesi için programlı bir büyümenin programlı abonmanın olması lazım. Biz geçmişten gelen eksikliği tamamlamaya çalışıyoruz. Diğer yandan önümüzde devamlı yeni konutlar yapılıyor. Buna bir çözüm bulunması gerekiyor” dedi.
Gürün: Büyükşehir Olarak 128 Çevre Davası Açtık
Büyükşehir Belediyesi olarak 128 adet dava açtıklarını söyleyen Başkan Gürün “Gökova Körfezi benim içimi sızlatıyor. Orada öyle niyetler var ki adeta Gökova Körfezi yat limanları ile dolacak. Gökova Körfezi gittiği zaman mavi yolculuk veleddalin aminolacak. Ancak yetki açısından baktığınız zaman bizim elimizde tek enstrüman var dava açmak. Çevre ile ilgili açtığımız dava sayısı 128 adet. Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi, Çevre Bakanlığının yaptığı planlar ve yapılan işlemlerle ilgili ön görüş veriyoruz. Ön görüş vermemize rağmen o işi yaparlarsa derhal dava açıyoruz" dedi.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Osman Gürün made statements about the ongoing constructions in Bodrum Peninsula in a television program he attended. President Gurun said, “Bodrum is almost occupied. It is certain how many people a house and a car will take. But there is a constant construction in Bodrum. If I had the authority right now, I would stop the constructions in Bodrum," he said.
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Osman Gürün made statements on various subjects, from the constructions in Bodrum to the Gulf of Gökova, in a television program he attended.
Chairman Gurun: We Invested 3 Billion 600 Million Liras
Stating that they serve an area 2.5 times the size of Istanbul, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Osman Gürün said, “As Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, we have invested 3 billion 660 million liras throughout the province. The investment we have made since the day we became the Metropolitan Municipality. We have done infrastructure works.. We never have any complaints. We are trying to solve problems from the past. We modernized our 400 km road. We have an area size that is 2.5 times the size of Istanbul. We have more coastal lengths than the country's coastal length of 9 countries in the Mediterranean. When you look at all of these, you go from one end of Muğla to the other in 4 hours. And you are working on infrastructure in this geography.”
Gurun: Bodrum Is Almost Occupied
Stating that an infrastructure investment of 1 billion 460 million liras has been made in Bodrum, Mayor Gurun said, “We continue the infrastructure works in Bodrum. Basement is amazing. Everyone wants to come to Bodrum. I wonder if they come to Bodrum to live with the values of Bodrum. Or is it coming to impose its own values on a precious Bodrum? Bodrum is almost occupied. It is certain how many people a house and a car will take. But there is a constant construction in Bodrum. Now they say don't give zoning. Previously, fragmented town municipalities and other municipalities all made their own time zoning. Water is one of the essential things here. The second is the sewer. Third is transportation. Transport is currently locked. We are investing 1 billion 460 million liras in infrastructure in Bodrum. There was sewerage in 41 percent of Bodrum. We are going over 90 percent with what we do today," he said.
Mayor Gurun: Development Authority Belongs to the Ministry
Stating that there are continuous constructions in Bodrum, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Gürün said, "Continuation of construction brings new problems to the agenda." President Gurun said, “The issue of water in Bodrum is an interesting thing. When we took over, the number of subscribers on water-related issues was 75,40 in 2015. Water consumption was 7 million 810 thousand 420 m3. In 2022, the number of subscribers increased to 93 thousand 593. Water consumption increased to 11 million 36 thousand m3. Water is not enough. We are running after the problem, trying to catch up with it. Solve it. But ahead, there is always new construction, new subscribers, and new consumption. There is no such urbanism. If I had the authority right now, I would stop the constructions in Bodrum. According to the future zoning plan, I decide how to make the future population, transportation, water, sewerage and with what resources. If you can afford them, I say come, brother, build it here. The Ministry can do this. I stopped the development in Bodrum. I will reevaluate it fully. Depending on the situation, I will redo the zoning. He may say that I will give its development and construction permit when the infrastructure and other works are completed. It's a radical solution. In order for water to be sufficient in Bodrum, there must be a programmed growth and a programmed subscription. We are trying to fill the gap from the past. On the other hand, new houses are constantly being built in front of us. There needs to be a solution to this,” he said.
Gurun: We Filed 128 Environmental Lawsuits as a Metropolitan
Stating that they opened 128 lawsuits as the Metropolitan Municipality, Mayor Gurun said, “The Gulf of Gökova makes me ache. There are such intentions that the Gulf of Gökova will be filled with marinas. When the Gulf of Gökova goes, the blue cruise veleddalin will be amino. However, when you look at it from the point of view of authority, we have only one instrument to file a lawsuit. The number of cases we have opened regarding the environment is 128. We give a preliminary opinion on the plans made by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and the Ministry of Environment and on the actions taken. If they do that job even though we give a preliminary opinion, we will file a lawsuit immediately.
