Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğü (MGM) Muğla için "şiddetli yağmur ve fırtına" uyarısının ardından tahminler doğru çıktı ve fırtınayla yağmur başta Bodrum olmak üzere pek çok ilçeyi etkiledi.
Bodrum'da müdahaleler
Bodrum'da saatteki hızı zaman zaman 80 kilometreye kadar çıktığı tahmin edilen rüzgar nedeniyle dalgalar kıyıları dövdü, yer yer kayıklar battı, ağaçlar kırıldı ya da söküldü. Sahil bandındaki işletmeler dalgalar ve şiddetli rüzgar nedeniyle zaman zaman zor anlar yaşarken Bodrum Belediyesi sık sık anonslar yaparak vatandaşları ve tekne sahiplerini uyardı.
Bodrum - Kaş arasındaki denizde işddetli fırtına uyarısı da yapılırken Bodrum Belediyesi Temizlik İşleri Müdürlüğü, Destek Müdürlüğü ve Fen işleri Müdürlüğü ekipleri başta mazgallar olmak üzere müdahalelerde bulundu. İlçede geçmiş yıllarda yaşanan türden sel felaketiyle karşılaşılmazken fırtına ve şiddetli yağmurun Pazartesi öğle saatlerine akdar sürebileceği belirtildi.

Milas'da etkili oldu
Milas'ta şiddetli sağanak yağmur yolları göle çevirirken özellikle Bafa Mahallesi'nde su baskınları yaşandığı bilgisi geldi. MGM'ye göre çok kuvvetli ve şiddetli yağışlarda metrekareye ortalama 51-100 kg yağış düştüğü öğrenildi.
Milas Belediyesi ekipleri gelen ihbarlara anında müdahale ekipleri çıkartırken Bafa - Söke karayolunda seyreden araçlar dağlardan gelen sular ve o suların sürüklediği taş, çamur, balçık nedeniyle zaman zaman ilerleyemedi.

MBB'den çağrı
Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi (MBB) ekipleri gelen ihbarlara müdahale ederken belediye yetkilileri vatandaşların taşkın ve su baskını konusunda ihbar için 444 48 01 numaralı çağrı merkezine bilgi verebileceklerini duyurdular.
Menteşe'de etkili oldu
Merkez Menteşe ilçesinde yoğun yağış sonrası bazı cadde ve sokaklarda zaman zaman sıkıntılar yaşandı. Özelliğkle Ortaköy ve Kötekli mahalleleri'nde uzun süreli şiddetli yağış sonrasında bazı cadde, sokak ve evlerin bahçeleri sular altında kaldı.
