Cumhurbaşkanı ve AK Parti Genel Başkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan partisinin TBMM'deki grup toplantısında yaptığı konuşmada seçimlerin 14 Mayıs 2023 tarihinde yapılacağını açıkladı.

Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, “Cumhuriyetimizin 100. yılında ülkemizi ulaştırmak, milletimizi kavuşturmak istediğimiz hedeflere hamdolsun, büyük ölçüde kavuştuk. Ülkemizin son 10 yıldır maruz kaldığı ağır saldırılar ve küresel krizler, bazı alanlarda gecikmeye yol açsa da bunlar kazanımlarımızın büyüklüğüne halel getirecek hususlar değildir. Evet, 2023, bizim için hem 20 yıllık eser ve hizmet siyasetimizin sembolüdür hem de yeni vizyonumuz Türkiye Yüzyılı’nın başlangıcıdır” şeklinde konuştu.

“Önümüzdeki aylarda yaşanacak seçimi, önemli ve tarihî kılan da işte budur” diyen Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, sözlerini şöyle sürdürdü:

“Bizim hayatımızda hiçbir seçim kolay olmadı. Her seçime büyük bir mücadeleyle, azimle, gayretle hazırlandık, girdik. Allah’a şükür, her seçimde de sandıktan zaferle çıkmayı başardık.”

Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, şu değerlendirmede bulundu:

“Türkiye bugün, hem dünyadaki gelişmelerin etkisiyle hem kendi serencamının tabii bir neticesi olarak öyle bir yol ayrımında ki, böyle fırsatlar milletlerin önüne asırda bir gelir. Ardı ardına nükseden küresel krizler, dünyanın siyasi ve ekonomik ağırlık merkezlerinde köklü değişikliklerin başlamasına yol açtı. Geçmişte kendi krizleri içinde boğulan bir Türkiye vardı. Bu defa Türkiye, sahip olduğu güçlü eser ve hizmet altyapısı sayesinde küresel sarsıntıları kendi atılımlarının dayanağı hâline dönüştürebiliyor. Yatırımıyla, istihdamıyla, üretimiyle, ihracatıyla her başlıkta bu gerçeği ispatlayan bir ülkeyiz.”

"En büyük sorunumuz enflasyondu, işte o da düşüşe geçti. Enflasyonu inşallah önümüzdeki aylarda yüzde 30'lara doğru hızla düştüğünü hep birlikte göreceğiz" dedi. Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan seçim tarihine ilişkin yaptığı açıklamada 14 Mayıs'ı işaret ederek "Milletimiz 73 yıl sonra bir kez daha aynı gün 6'lı masa diyerek karşımıza çıkan darbe şakşakçılarına 'yeter' diyecektir."

"Sözü de kararı da geleceğini de tayin hakkını milletimize bırakmak istemeyen vesayet heveslilerine rağmen Türkiye Yüzyılı'nı başlatacağız. Rahmetli Menderes 14 Mayıs 1950'de 'yeter söz milletin' demiş ve sandıktan büyük bir zaferle çıkmıştı. Milletimiz 73 yıl sonra bir kez daha aynı gün 6'lı masa diyerek karşımıza çıkan darbe şakşakçılarına yeter diyecektir. Muhalefetin vaadi milletin karşısına bir aday çıkarmak ancak onu görünürde 6, gerisindekileri de hesaba katarsanız en az 10 kişiyle yönetmektir. Kukla bir cumhurbaşkanı üzerinden ülkeyi idare etmek istiyorlar. Bunlar gel deyince gelecek git deyince gidecek başkanlara alışmışlar. Seçmenlerin de istedikleri vizyonu, programı, çapı belli olmayan meçhul adaya kim olduğunu bilmeden tıpış tıpış sandığa giderek oy vermeleridir. Bunlar da her hafta bir yenisini sergiledikleri kavgalarıyla milletimize bir çeşit siyasi dejavu yaşatıyor, eskiden bu işlerin nasıl yürüdüğünü hatırlatıyorlar."

"6'lı masadaki birilerini masaya Erdoğan mı gönderdi diyorlar. İşim gücüm yok bunlarla mı uğraşacağım. Buradan milli iradenin en yüksek makamı olan Meclisimizden meydan okuyorum; ne yaparsanız yapın yine başaramayacaksınız. Benim milletim artık tüm oyunlarınızı çözdü. Bu ülkenin cumhurbaşkanı olarak karşınızdayım. Bakın bölgesinde ve dünyada sorun çözen bir siyasetçi olarak karşınızdayım. Gündemi Türkiye Yüzyılı vizyonu olan bir yönetim olarak karşınızdayız. İnşallah 2023 seçimlerinden sonra da Türkiye Yüzyılı'nın mimarı olarak milletimizin görevlendirmesiyle yine karşınızda olacağız. Biz Allah'ın yardımıyla, milletimizin desteğiyle gençlerimizin umutlarıyla ayağa kalktık, bugünlere geldik, yarınlara yürüyoruz. Tek dertleri karınlarında gezen 40 tilkinin kuyruğunu birbirine dolaştırmamak olanların aksine biz milletimize hizmet ediyoruz."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the elections will be held on May 14, 2023.

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the elections will be held on 14 May 2023 in his speech at the group meeting of his party in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) AK Party Group Meeting and made a speech.

President Erdoğan said: “Thanks to the goals we wanted to reach our country and our nation in the 100th year of our Republic, we have achieved a great deal. Although the heavy attacks and global crises that our country has been exposed to in the last 10 years have caused delays in some areas, these are not issues that will harm the magnitude of our achievements. Yes, 2023 is both the symbol of our 20-year work and service policy for us, and the beginning of our new vision, the Turkish Century.

President Erdoğan said, “This is what makes the election that will be held in the coming months important and historic,” and continued his words as follows: “No election in our life has been easy. We prepared and entered each election with a great struggle, determination and effort. Thank God, we were able to emerge victorious from the polls in every election."

President Erdoğan made the following assessment: “Turkey is at such a crossroads today, both as a result of the developments in the world and as a natural result of its own initiative, that such opportunities come to the nations once in a century. Global crises that recurred one after another led to radical changes in the world's political and economic centers of gravity. In the past, there was a Turkey drowning in its own crises. This time, Turkey is able to turn global shocks into the basis of its own breakthroughs, thanks to its strong infrastructure of works and services. We are a country that proves this fact in every aspect with its investment, employment, production and exports.”

President Erdogan said:

"Our biggest problem was inflation, and that's how it went down. I hope we'll see the inflation drop to around 30 percent in the coming months," he said. Pointing to May 14 in his statement regarding the election date, President Erdoğan said, "Our nation will once again say 'enough' to the coup pranksters who appear before us on the same day, 73 years later, saying a 6-piece table."

"Despite the tutelage enthusiasts who do not want to give up the right to determine the word, the decision and the future to our nation, we will start the Century of Turkey. The late Menderes said on May 14, 1950, 'enough is enough, your nation's' and came out of the ballot box with a great victory. Our nation, 73 years later, was once again on the same day. They will say enough to the coup puppeteers who come across as a table of 6. The promise of the opposition is to put a candidate in front of the nation, but to rule it with 6 people on sight and at least 10 if you take into account those behind it. They want to rule the country through a puppet president. They will come when they say come, they will go when they say go. "They are used to presidents. Voters also go to the ballot box to vote for an unknown candidate whose vision, program and diameter are unknown. They also give our nation a kind of political déjà vu with their fights that they put on a new one every week, reminding us how things used to work in the past."

"They say, "Did Erdogan send someone at the 6-table to the table. I have no business, am I going to deal with them. I challenge our Assembly, the highest authority of the national will, from here; you will not succeed no matter what you do. My nation has now solved all your games. I am here as the president of this country. Look." I stand before you as a politician who solves problems in the region and in the world. We stand before you as an administration with the vision of the Turkish Century on the agenda. Hopefully, we will be before you again with the assignment of our nation as the architect of the Turkish Century after the 2023 elections. With the help of Allah, with the support of our nation, we stood up with the hopes of our youth, We have come to these days, we are walking towards the future. Unlike those whose only concern is not to tangle the tails of 40 foxes wandering in their bellies, we serve our nation."
