YSK, 14 Mayıs'ta yapılacak seçimlerde aday olmak isteyen kamu görevlilerinin istifa etmeleri gereken son tarihi 16 Mart 2023 olarak belirledi.

Resmi Gazete'nin mükerrer sayısında iki ayrı YSK kararı yayımlandı. İlk kararda seçimin 14 Mayıs'ta yapılacağı yer alırken, ikinci kararda seçimlerde aday olmak isteyen devlet görevlilerinin de 16 Mart saat 17.00'ye kadar istifa dilekçelerini vermeleri gerektiği belirtildi. Karara göre istifa etmesi gereken kamu görevlileri şunlar:

1- Milletvekili adayı olmak isteyen;

a) Hakimler ve savcılar,

b) Yüksek yargı organları mensupları,

c) Yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki öğretim elemanları,

ç) Yükseköğretim Kurulu üyeleri,

d) Radyo ve Televizyon Üst Kurulu üyeleri,

e) Kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarının memur statüsündeki görevlileri ile yaptıkları hizmet bakımından işçi niteliği taşımayan diğer kamu görevlileri,

f) Belediye başkanları,

g) Subaylar ile astsubaylar,

ğ) Siyasi partilerin il ve ilçe yönetim kurulu başkan ve üyeleri,

h) Belediye meclisi üyeleri,

I) İl genel meclisi üyeleri,

i) Kamu kurumu niteliğindeki meslek kuruluşları ile sendikalar, kamu bankaları ile üst birliklerin ve bunların üst kuruluşlarının ve katıldıkları teşebbüs veya ortaklıkların yönetim ve denetim kurullarında görev alanların en geç 16 Mart 2023 Perşembe günü saat 17.00'ye kadar 2839 sayılı Kanun'un 18'inci maddesi uyarınca görevlerinden ayrılma isteğinde bulunmaları gerektiğine,

2- Kamu görevlilerinden emeklilik dilekçesi verip aday olacakların en geç 16 Mart 2023 Perşembe gününden geçerli olmak üzere emeklilik isteğini belirten dilekçelerini en geç 16 Mart 2023 Perşembe günü saat 17.00'ye kadar vermeleri gerektiğine,

3- Karar örneğinin:

a) Resmi Gazete'de yayımlanmasına,

b) Karar özetinin duyuru halinde Türkiye Radyo Televizyon Kurumunda ilanına,

c) Seçmen Kütüğü Genel Müdürlüğünce Kurulumuzun www.ysk.gov.tr internet adresinde yayınlanmasına oy birliği ile karar verildi.

Election decisions of the YSK

The YSK has set the deadline for the resignation of public officials who want to be candidates in the elections to be held on 14 May, as 16 March 2023.

Two separate YSK decisions were published in the duplicate issue of the Official Gazette. While it was stated in the first decision that the election would be held on 14 May, in the second decision, it was stated that state officials who want to be a candidate in the elections should submit their resignation petitions until 16 March at 17.00. According to the decision, the public officials who should resign are as follows:

1- Those who want to be a parliamentary candidate;

a) Judges and prosecutors,

b) Members of high judicial bodies,

c) Lecturers in higher education institutions,

d) Members of the Council of Higher Education,

d) Members of the Radio and Television Supreme Council,

e) Civil servants of public institutions and organizations and other public officials who are not workers in terms of their services,

f) Mayors,

g) Officers and non-commissioned officers,

ğ) Chairman and members of the provincial and district administrative boards of political parties,

h) Members of the municipal council,

I) Provincial council members,

i) Those who take charge in the management and audit boards of professional organizations in the nature of public institutions and trade unions, public banks and superior unions and their superior organizations and undertakings or partnerships in which they participate, until 17.00 on Thursday, March 16, 2023, in accordance with Article 18 of the Law No. 2839. that they should request to leave their duties pursuant to the article,

2- Those who will submit a retirement petition and be a candidate from public officials should submit their petitions stating their retirement request, effective as of Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the latest, until 17.00 on Thursday, March 16, 2023,

3- Example of decision:

a) To be published in the Official Gazette,

b) Announcement of the summary of the decision in the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation in case of announcement,

c) It has been unanimously decided by the General Directorate of Electoral Roll that our Board will be published on the internet address of www.ysk.gov.tr.
