CHP Bodrum ilçe örgütünde dosya tamamlayıp, ücretlerini yatırıp Bodrum Belediye Başkanlığı için aday adayı olan 23 isimden 16'sı bugün CHP Bodrum İlçe örgütünün Çarşı binası önünde basın açıklaması düzenledi.

Bu göreve aday olmayan Bodrum Belediyesi Meclis üyesi 30 yaşındaki Tamer Mandalinci’nin genel merkez yönetimince aday gösterilmesini eleştiren aday adayları kararın Parti Meclisi'nde (PM) yeniden ele alınmasını istediler.

CHP Bodrum ilçe örgütü çarşı binası önünde bir araya gelen aday adaylarından bazıları şu isimlerden oluştu;

Aday adaylarından Mustafa Saruhan ilk sözü alarak özetle şunları söyledi;

"Bizler neden aday olduk? Neden mülakata tabi tutulduk? Neden bizler kamuoyuna sunulduk? Ne eksiğimiz vardı da hiç birimiz değerlendirilmeyip başka arkadaşlarımız göreve atandı? Kişilerle işimiz asla olmadı, olmaz. Hep amaca bakmak lazım. Parti Meclisi toplantısında alınan karar tekrar değerlendir ve bu karar düzeltilirse bizler de kim aday olursa onun etrafında ekip olarak çalışır ve mücadelemizi devam ettiririz."

Ortak basın açıklaması

16 aday adyının katıldığı basın açıklamasında ortak metnin 23 aday adayı adına yapıldığı anlaşıldı. Aday adayları adına ortak açıklamayı Cafer Taşkan okudu. Ortak basın açıklaması şöyle;

“Saygıdeğer Bodrum Halkı ve Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi Genel Merkezine; Bizler, Atatürk'ün kurmuş olduğu, 100 yıllık geleneğe sahip Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi'nin Bodrum Belediye Başkanlığı için aday adayı olmuş 23 yetkin kişiyiz. Parti geleneklerimizi her zaman dikkate alarak, bugüne dek içinde büyütüldüğümüz sosyal demokrat algımız ve kurulduğu günden bu yana partili büyüklerimizin bizlere aşıladığı demokrasi anlayışıyla, yerel seçim öncesi 23 Cumhuriyet Halk Partili aday adayı olarak parti çatımız altında hep birlikte, saygılı bir yarışa girdik.

Adı üstünde; aday adaylığı, siyasi partilerin, en liyakatli, en donanımlı ve geleceğe yönelik projeleri olan aday adayları arasından, halkın önüne en iyisini çıkartmak için başlattığı bir yarış sürecidir. Partinin en iyi adayını halkın önüne çıkartmak, hem partiyi gururlu ve başarılı kılar hem de bu adayla kazanılan seçim halkı refaha ve istikrara taşır.

l ve İlçe örgütlerinin öngörülerine rağmen, Bodrum’da aday adaylığı sürecinin yok sayılıp, adaylık başvurusu dahi yapmamış dışarıdan bir aday ile yola devam kararı, son yirmi yıldır ana muhalefet olarak parti liderliğimizin her daim yanlışlara karşı eleştirileri ve de demokrasiyi şiar edinmiş anlayışlar için tepeden inme atamalara karşı duruşu bu gelişen süreç içerisinde biz aday adayları açısından büyük bir şaşkınlık ve hayal kırıklığı yaratmıştır. Ama daha vahimi, Bodrum halkından yükselen şaşkınlık sesleri, üzülerek belirtiyoruz ki bu yaklaşımın karşılık bulamadığının açık göstergesidir. Kıymetli Bodrumlular Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi ilke ve disiplini içerisinde aylardır çalışan adayların emek ve çabaları heba edilip yok sayılmıştır. Tüm siyasetçiler bilir ki meydanları kutlama için doldurmak kolaydır. Bizler isterdik ki Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi motive edilmiş bir kalabalıkla meydanı dolduracağına, sergilediği demokratik duruşla, yürekten, coşkuyla sokağa dökülen bir halkla meydanı doldurabilmiş olsaydı.

Hatalar yapılabilir. Ama önemli olan bu hatalardan vahim sonuçlar doğmadan dönebilmektir. 100 yıllık bir geleneğe bağlı Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi yönetiminin, ortaya konan bu antidemokratik hatadan ilk Parti Meclisi Toplantısında dönmesi en büyük temennimizdir.

Bizlerin talebi, aday adayları arasında ön seçim yapılarak Bodrum Belediye başkan adayımızın bu yöntemle belirlenmesidir. Bodrum ilçesinin Cumhuriyet Halk Partili 23 aday adayı olarak bunu kamuoyunda açıklamak boynumuzun borcudur. Bu hatadan dönülmez ise partimiz çok ağır, kurumsal bir zarar görecek ve daha vahimi, seçimde telafisi olamayacak zararlara uğraması kaçınılmazdır. Halkımıza saygı ile duyururuz.”

"Appointment" reaction in CHP Bodrum

CHP reacts to the election of a candidate who has never been a candidate, instead of those who are candidates for mayor in Bodrum...

16 of the 23 names who completed their files in the CHP Bodrum District Organization, paid their fees and became candidates for the Bodrum Municipality Mayor held a press statement in front of the Çarşı building of the CHP Bodrum District Organization today.

Candidates criticized the headquarters management's nomination of 30-year-old Bodrum Municipal Council member Tamer Mandalinci, who is not a candidate for this position, and asked for the decision to be reconsidered in the Party Assembly (PM).

16 of the 23 candidates who came together in front of the CHP Bodrum district organization market building were the following;

Mustafa Saruhan, one of the candidates, took the first floor and said briefly as follows;

Why did we become candidates? Why were we interviewed? Why were we presented to the public? What did we lack that none of us were evaluated and other colleagues were appointed? We have never had anything to do with people, never will. You always have to look at the goal. "Re-evaluate the decision taken at the Party Assembly meeting and if this decision is corrected, we will continue our struggle to work hard and as a team around whoever is a candidate and contribute to our city."

Joint press release

In the press release attended by 16 candidates, it was understood that the joint text was made on behalf of 23 candidates. Cafer Taşkan read the joint statement on behalf of the candidates. The joint press release is as follows:

“Dear Bodrum People and the Republican People's Party Headquarters; We are 23 competent people who have been candidates for Bodrum Mayor of the Republican People's Party, which has a 100-year tradition and was founded by Atatürk. Always taking our party traditions into account, with the social democratic perception in which we were raised until today, and with the understanding of democracy instilled in us by our party elders since the day it was founded, we entered a respectful race together under our party roof as 23 Republican People's Party candidates before the local elections.

As the name suggests; Candidate candidacy is a competition process initiated by political parties to present the best candidate among the most qualified, most equipped and future-oriented candidates to the public. Presenting the party's best candidate to the public makes the party proud and successful, and the election won with this candidate brings the people to prosperity and stability.

Despite the predictions of the provincial and district organizations, the decision to ignore the candidate candidacy process in Bodrum and continue with an outside candidate who has not even applied for candidacy, the criticism of our party leadership as the main opposition for the last twenty years against the mistakes and the top-down approach for the understandings that have adopted democracy as a motto. His stance against appointments has created great surprise and disappointment for us, the candidates, in this developing process. But what is more serious, the voices of surprise rising from the people of Bodrum, we regret to say, are a clear indication that this approach has not found a response. Dear Bodrum residents, the efforts and efforts of the candidates who have been working for months within the principles and discipline of the Republican People's Party have been wasted and ignored. All politicians know that it is easy to fill the squares for celebration. We would have wished that the Republican People's Party, instead of filling the square with a motivated crowd, had been able to fill the square with its democratic stance and with a people who took to the streets wholeheartedly and enthusiastically.

Mistakes can be made. But the important thing is to be able to return from these mistakes before dire consequences arise. It is our greatest wish that the Republican People's Party administration, which has a 100-year tradition, will reverse this undemocratic mistake at its first Party Assembly Meeting.

Our request is to hold a primary election among the candidates and determine our Bodrum Mayor candidate using this method. As the 23 candidates of the Republican People's Party in Bodrum district, it is our duty to announce this to the public. If this mistake is not corrected, our party will suffer very heavy institutional damage and, more importantly, it will inevitably suffer irreparable losses in the elections. We announce this with respect to our people.”
