Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi Bodrum Belediye Başkan adayı Tamer Mandalinci, “5.Acı Ot Festivali” ile “Geleneksel Bodrum Deve Güreşleri” etkinliklerine katıldı. Çarşı, pazar vatandaşı dinledi.

CHP Bodrum Belediye Başkan adayı Tamer Mandalinci, CHP Muğla Milletvekili Süreyya Öneş Derici ve Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan adayı Ahmet Aras ile bu yıl 5.’si düzenlenen “Acı Ot Festivali"ne katıldı.

Bugün sabah saatlerinde kortej yürüyüşü ile başlayan etkinlik açılış seremonisi ile devam etti. Festival alanında basın mensuplarına açıklamada bulunan Tamer Mandalinci, festivale katkı sağlayanlara teşekkür ederek, bu tür festivallerin yörenin ve ürünlerinin tanıtımını yaptığı gibi yöre halkına da önemli katkılar sağladığını belirterek şunları ifade etti:

"Bu etkinlikleri Bodrum’un her bölgesine yayacağız. Özellikle kış aylarında, kış turizmini destekleyen, ilçemizde bir sirkülasyon oluşturan ve esnafımıza girdi sağlayan bu festivalleri artırarak devam ettireceğiz. İlerleyen zamanlarda Acı ot Festivalini gastronomi ve kültür şenliğine dönüştüreceğiz. Yerli yabancı turistlerimize Bodrum'un kış aylarında da çok güzel olduğunu, keşfedilmesi gereken destinasyon olduğunu göstereceğiz. Festivaller büyüyerek ve yaygınlaşarak devam edecek. Seneye bu etkinliğin ana yüklenicisi Büyükşehir Belediyesi olacak. Bizler, daha iyisini yapmak için geliyoruz. 1 Nisan'dan sonra ayak basmadık yer, etkinlik yapmadık mahalle bırakmayacağız."

Bodrum Belediye Başkanı ve Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan adayı Ahmet Aras ise Acı Ot Festivalinin 5 yılda önemli bir yol kastettiğini, büyükşehir olarak da festivallere desteklerini sürdüreceklerini söyledi. Aras, ağacın olmadığı alanları imara açmak istenmesine de tepki göstererek "Çalı çırpı dediğiniz şeyler endemik ve çok değerli bitkiler. Ayağınızı bastığınız her yerde endemik bitki vardır. Bu doğayı güzelleştiren ürünler vardır" dedi.

Mandalinci ve Aras daha sonra Kızılağaç'ta düzenlenen Bodrum Geleneksel Deve Güreşleri Festivaline katıldı. Yöresel kıyafetlerle güreş alanına gelen Mandalinci ve Aras, Turgutreis'ten müsabakalara katılan deveyi de alanda gezdirdi. Aras ve Mandalinci, Yörük kültürünü yaşatan bu etkinliğin devam etmesi için gereken desteği vereceklerini söyledi.

Çarşı pazar projeleri anlattı

Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi Bodrum Belediye Başkan Adayı Tamer Mandalinci, ziyaret ettiği pazaryeri ve AVM’de, 31 Mart’ta halkın takdirinin sandığa yansıyacağını, göreve geldiğinde Atatürk’ün emanetlerine sahip çıkmak ve halka hizmet için canla başla çalışacağını, makamda değil halkın arasında olacağını söyledi.

CHP Bodrum Belediye Başkan adayı Tamer Mandalinci, seçim çalışmaları kapsamında Çırkan Pazaryeri ardından Oasis Alışveriş Merkezinde esnaf ve vatandaşlarla bir araya geldi.

Başkan adayı Tamer Mandalinci, “Bodrum’un, Bodrumlunun haklarını korumak, almak için hiçbir kapıyı çalmaktan çekinmem. Makamda değil, her zamanki gibi halkın arasında olacağım. Sorunları ve çözüm yollarını Bodrumlularla birlikte konuşup, karar vereceğiz. Artık gençler ‘ayrıştırıcı siyaset’ istemiyor, bütünleştirici ve kucaklayıcı olmaya çok önem veriyorum. Bunu Bodrum’da hayata geçirip, Türkiye’ye örnek olacağız” dedi.

Ziyarette Tamer Mandalinci bu seçimlerde oy kullanamayacağını anlatan bir genç, “Kullanabilseydim oyum senindi. Ama ailem sizi destekliyor, kazanacaksınız” dedi. Mandalinci ise seçimlerde oy kullanmanın önemli olduğunu ama yürekten desteğin kendisini daha mutlu ettiğini ifade ederek teşekkür etti.

Nurol Kültür Merkezinde, Mihriban Er’in tek kişilik gösterisi “Kadın ne ister?” oyununu izleyen Tamer Mandalinci, kültür sanatın toplumdaki yerine değinerek, sanatın ve sanatçının her zaman yanında olacaklarını söyledi.

Mandalinci and Aras later attended the Bodrum Traditional Camel Wrestling Festival held in Kızılağaç. Mandalinci and Aras came to the wrestling area wearing local clothes and showed the camel participating in the competitions from Turgutreis around the area.
