CHP Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan adayı Ahmet Aras, İYİ Parti Bodrum belediye başkan adayıyla yaşanan polemik üzerine açıklama yayınladı.

Bodrum Belediye Başkanı ve CHP Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi Başkan adayı Ahmet Aras, İYİ Parti Bodrum Belediye Başkan Adayı Raşit Emir Süer'in karşılaşmasında yaşanan diyaloglarla ilgili olarak açıklama yayınladı. Aras'ın açıklaması şöyle;

"Kıymetli hemşehrilerim,

Yönetimi halkın desteğiyle kazanmak için siyasi rakiplerimizle sahada demokratik bir yarış sürdürdüğümüz bugünlerde kentimiz için tek beklentimiz temel nezaket kuralları içinde kampanya yürütmektir.

Bugün ne yazık ki demokratik seçim sürecine halel getirecek bir üslup ile karşı karşıya kaldım. Ben bu üslubun İyi Partili vatandaşıma ait olmadığını biliyorum. Lütfen müsterih olun. Bizi ayrıştıran, ötekileştiren bu siyasi söylem hepimizde bıkkınlık yarattı. Biz bu üslubun Türkiye siyasetinde ve Muğla siyasetinde artık kabul görmediğini biliyoruz.

Siyaseten bir çıkmazda olan adayın şovunun bir parçası olmayacağımıza sizi temin ederim. Siyaseti halk için yapanların şovlara ayıracak zamanı yoktur.

Bizim gündemimizi sadece ve sadece vatandaşımız belirler, Muğlalı belirler. Biz Muğla’yı karış karış dolaşıyoruz. Muğlalı’nın derdi iş, Muğlalı’nın derdi aş. Muğlalı’nın derdi çocuğunun geleceği. Bizim reçetemiz ise halkçı belediyecilik.

Sevgili Muğlalılar, 1 Nisan sabahında yüzyüze bakmaya devam edeceğimizin bilincinde, bu kente hizmet etmek ve Türkiye ittifakının bir parçası olarak Muğla ittifakını kurmak için yola çıktık.

Bizim demokrasi anlayışımız sandıkla sınırlı değil, biz bu kenti hep birlikte yönetmeye talibiz. Bizi arayan, olaydan dolayı üzüntülerini belirten başta İyi Parti Grup Başkanvekili sayın Müsavat Dervişoğlu olmak üzere, İyi Parti Muğla yöneticilerine, siyasi rakiplerimize ve tüm Muğlalılara teşekkür ediyorum.

Ne olmuştu?

Seçim kampanyası dahilinde il turlarını sürdüren Bodrum Belediye Başkanı ve CHP Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan adayı Ahmet Aras İYİ Parti heyeti ile karşılaştı. Burada İYİ Parti Bodrum Belediye Başkan adayı Raşit Emir Süer’e elini uzatan Aras, “Başkan merhaba. Hayırlı olsun” dedi. Süer ise Ahmet Aras'ın elini sıkmayarak, "Pkk’lıyı kendine yardımcı yapan adamla tokalaşmam. Bu devlete düşmanlarla yakınlaşanlarla tokalaşmam” dedi.

Süer'in sözlerine şaşıran Aras, "bu tür provokasyonlara gelmem" dedi. Aras, İYİ Parti Bodrum Belediye Başkan adayı Süer'e şu sözlerle yanıt verdi;

“Sen lütfen kendine gelir misin? Senin provokasyonuna gelecek bir adam yok karşında, saygılı ol. Biz bu memleketin çocuğuyuz. Vatanımızı, milletimizi, memleketimizi senden daha çok seviyoruz. Bu devletin polisi, askeri var, savcısı var. Bana Ak Parti ağzıyla konuşma. Siz Ak Partiliyi İYİ Parti’ye aday mı yaptınız? Arkadaş bize Ak Parti ağzıyla konuşuyor. Senin yaptığın çok ayıp. Kimse benim vatan, millet, bayrak sevgimi sorgulayamaz, ağzına bile alamaz. Bu siyaset dilinin Bodrum’da yeri yoktur. Biz Ak Partilisiyle, İYİ Partilisiyle herkesle birlikte otururuz. Sen zaten kimseyle el sıkışamazsın. Bu dille, bu üslupla hiç kimse ile el sıkışamazsın."

Aras'ın elini sıkmayan Süer’in tartışma esnasında, Aras'ın "Ben Bodrum Belediye Başkanıyım" demesi üzerine şu ifadelerle yanıt verdi;

"Beni kendime getirecek sadece Türk Milleti var. Makamına saygı duyarım sana saygı duymam, duymak zorunda da değilim. Bu memleketin çocuğuysan PKK’nın avukatını, evlatlarımızın katilinin avukatını kendine yardımcı yapmayacaksın. Bu millete verdiğin sözleri tutacaksın. Ak Partililerle fotoğrafı olan sensin. Senin bu millete yaptığın ayıp, onun hesabını sormaya geldik sana. Tamer kardeşim aslan gibi kardeşim. Ben bu millete yanlış yapmadım, yanlışı yapan sensin. Senin gibilerle el sıkışmam. Sana işim de düşmez, inşaatçı da değilim. Devlet ihalem de yok, belediye ihalem de yok. Sözlerini tutmayı öğreneceksin. Ben gerginim. Bu millet sana ‘yazıklar olsun’ diyecek bu seçimde. Sakın Atatürk’ün ve Türk Bayrağı’nın arkasına saklanma. Sen bana Türk Milleyetçiliğini öğretemeyecek kadar Türk Milleti’ne ödül vermiş değil ceza vermiş adamsın.”

Tartışma sırasında İYİ Parti GİK üyesi ve Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan adayı Prof. Dr. Metin Ergun’a dönen Ahmet Aras, "Sayın başkanım, siz bu partinin genel başkan yardımcısısınız. Bodrum Belediye Başkanı’na bu şekilde davranmasına izin veriyorsanız, size de yazıklar olsun. Beni tanıyorsunuz, ben bu vatanın, milletin, bayrağın sevdalısı bir insanım. Yazıklar Olsun" dedi.

Muhtarlarla buluşma

Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan Adayı Ahmet Aras, muhtarlar buluşması

Seçim çalışmalarını sürdüren Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan Adayı Ahmet Aras, muhtarlarla da sık sık bir araya geliyor.

Vatandaş ile belediye arasındaki en önemli iletişimin muhtarlık olduğunu, kendisinin de 3 dönem muhtarlık yapan babasından dolayı muhtarlığın görevlerini ve sorumluluğunu çok iyi bildiğini ifade eden Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan Adayı Ahmet Aras, 5 yıllık belediye başkanlığı tecrübesinde Bodrum’da ki tüm muhtarlarla çok iyi çalıştığını da sözlerine ekleyerek, her zaman ulaşılabilir başkan olacağının sözünü verdi.

Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan Adaylığının açıklanmasından sonra ilk görüşmelerinde yine muhtarlarla bir araya gelen Ahmet Aras, Muğla İli Muhtarlar Federasyonu Başkanı Hayrettin Akay ve Muğla Muhtarlar Federasyonu Başkanı Kadir Gümüş ile her iki federasyonun yönetim kurulu üyesi muhtarlarla karşılıklı fikir alışverişlerinde bulundu.

Aras, muhtarlarla gerçekleştirdiği her görüşmede ulaşılabilir bir belediye başkanı olacağının sözünü vurgularken, muhtarların randevu almadan her zaman kendisiyle görüşebileceklerini ifade ederek, “Muhtarların randevu almasına gerek kalmayacak” dedi.

Muhtarlar ile yaptığı görüşmelerde kendisinin de muhtar çocuğu olduğunu dile getiren Aras, her zaman demokratik bir ilişki içinde birlik, beraberlik çerçevesinde vatandaşların menfaati için gece gündüz demeden çalışacağını belirtti.

Bodrum Belediye Başkanı ve Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan Adayı Ahmet Aras 5 yıl boyunca vatandaşa hizmet için birlikte görev aldığı Bodrum muhtarlarıyla yaptığı buluşmada ise şunları söylemişti;

“Muhtarlarımızın yerel yönetimdeki yerleri çok değerli. Onlar kent sakinlerimizle kurduğumuz iletişimde etkin rol üstleniyor. Ne mutlu bize ki birbirinden kıymetli muhtarlarımızla omuz omuza çalıştık. Halkımızın talep ve şikayetlerini dinledik, çözüm için birlikte yol aldık. Saha çalışmalarımızın yanında mahallelerin ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilmek adına toplantılar gerçekleştirdik. Bu toplantıların daha büyüklerini büyükşehirde de yapmayı hedefliyoruz. Muğla hepimizin.”

Aras, Menteşe, Yatağan ve Ortaca’da bir araya geldiği muhtarlarla ilçe ve bölge bazında bir araya gelmeye devam edecek.

Acı Ot Festivali

Bu yıl 5’incisi düzenlenen Acı Ot Festivaline katılan Bodrum Belediye Başkanı ve Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan Adayı Ahmet Aras, “Bu bitki örtüsü çalı, çırpı değil. Hipokrat’ın şifa otlarıdır” dedi.

Acı ot, tilkişen gibi doğada yetişen otlardan bahseden Aras, “Bunların hepsi tabi ki bu topraklarda bu dağlarda binlerce yıldır yetişen, bitki örtüsüne haiz, mikro bir bu bölgenin bir çeşitliliği var. Zaten Hipokrat da, bu topraklarda bu biyo çeşitlilik sayesinde topladığı otlardan yaptığı ilaçlarla tıbbın babası olmuş. Hipokrat da bu toprakların yetiştirdiği bir yine bilim adamı" dedi.

"Provocation" statement from Aras

CHP Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate Ahmet Aras published a statement regarding the polemic with the İYİ Party Bodrum mayor candidate.

Bodrum Mayor and CHP Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate Ahmet Aras published a statement regarding the dialogues during the match between İYİ Party Bodrum Mayor Candidate Raşit Emir Süer. Aras's statement is as follows:

"My dear fellow countrymen,

These days, when we are running a democratic race on the field with our political opponents to win the administration with the support of the people, our only expectation for our city is to run a campaign within the rules of basic courtesy.

Today, unfortunately, I was faced with a style that would harm the democratic election process. I know that this style does not belong to my Good Party citizens. Please be comforted. This political discourse that separates and alienates us has created weariness in all of us. We know that this style is no longer accepted in Turkish and Muğla politics.

I can assure you that we will not be part of the show of a candidate who is in a political deadlock. Those who do politics for the people have no time for shows.

Our agenda is determined only by our citizens, not by the people of Muğla. We are wandering around Muğla, step by step. Muğla people's problem is work, Muğla people's problem is food. Muğlalı's concern is his child's future. Our prescription is populist municipalism.

Dear Muğla residents, we set out to serve this city and establish the Muğla alliance as a part of the Turkish alliance, knowing that we will continue to see each other face to face on the morning of April 1.

Our understanding of democracy is not limited to the ballot box; we aspire to govern this city together. I would like to thank the İyi Party Muğla executives, our political rivals and all the people of Muğla, especially the İyi Party Group Deputy Chairman, Mr. Müsavat Dervişoğlu, who called us and expressed their sadness about the incident.

What happened?

Continuing his provincial tours within the scope of the election campaign, Bodrum Mayor and CHP Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate Ahmet Aras met with the İYİ Party delegation. Here, Aras extended his hand to İYİ Party Bodrum Mayor candidate Raşit Emir Süer and said, “Hello Mayor. "Good luck," he said. Süer, on the other hand, did not shake Ahmet Aras' hand and said, "I will not shake hands with the man who uses PKK members as his assistants. I will not shake hands with those who get close to the enemies of this state."

Surprised by Süer's words, Aras said, "I will not engage in such provocations." Aras responded to İYİ Party Bodrum Mayor candidate Süer with the following words;

“Can you please come to your senses? There is no man in front of you who will provocation you, be respectful. We are children of this country. We love our country, our nation, our country more than you. This state has police, soldiers and prosecutors. Don't talk to me in AK Party language. Did you make an AK Party member a candidate for the İYİ Party? Friend speaks to us in the AK Party voice. What you did is very shameful. No one can question or even mention my love for my homeland, nation, or flag. This political language has no place in Bodrum. We sit with AK Party members, İYİ Party members and everyone else. You can't shake hands with anyone anyway. "You cannot shake hands with anyone with this language and this style."

During the discussion, Süer, who did not shake Aras's hand, responded with the following statements when Aras said "I am the Mayor of Bodrum";

"There is only the Turkish Nation that will bring me to my senses. I respect your position, I do not respect you, and I do not have to. If you are a child of this country, you will not use the lawyer of the PKK, the lawyer of the murderer of our children, as your assistant. You will keep your promises to this nation. You are the one with the photo of the AK Party members. This is yours. What you did to the nation is shameful, we have come to ask you to account for it. My brother Tamer, my brother is like a lion. I did not do wrong to this nation, you are the one who did the wrong. I do not shake hands with people like you. I have no business for you, I am not a builder. I don't have a state tender, I don't have a municipal tender. "You will learn to keep your promises. I'm nervous. This nation will say 'shame on you' in this election. Don't hide behind Atatürk and the Turkish Flag. You are the man who punished, not rewarded, the Turkish Nation so much that you cannot teach me Turkish Nationalism."

During the discussion, İYİ Party GİK member and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate Prof. Dr. Turning to Metin Ergun, Ahmet Aras said, "Dear President, you are the deputy chairman of this party. If you allow the Mayor of Bodrum to behave in this way, shame on you. You know me, I am a person who loves this country, nation and flag. Shame on you." "Let it be," he said.

Meeting with the headmen

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Ahmet Aras, who continues his election campaign, also meets with the muhtars frequently.

Stating that the most important communication between the citizen and the municipality is the headmanship, and that he knows the duties and responsibilities of the headman very well due to his father, who served as headman for 3 terms, the Republican People's Party Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Municipality Mayoral Candidate Ahmet Aras added that he worked very well with all the headmen in Bodrum in his 5 years of mayoral experience, and promised that he would always be an accessible mayor.

After the announcement of his candidacy for Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Ahmet Aras met with the muhtars again in his first meeting, Muğla Province Mukhtars Federation President Hayrettin Akay and Muğla Mukhtars Federation President Kadir Gümüş and the board members of both federations exchanged ideas with the muhtars.

While Aras emphasized that he would be an accessible mayor in every meeting he held with the headmen, he stated that the headmen could always meet with him without making an appointment and said, "Muhtars will not need to make an appointment."

Expressing that he is also the son of the headman in his meetings with the headmen, Aras stated that he will always work day and night for the benefit of the citizens within the framework of unity and solidarity in a democratic relationship.

Bodrum Mayor and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Ahmet Aras said the following in his meeting with Bodrum headmen, with whom he has been working together to serve the citizens for 5 years;

“The place of our headmen in local government is very valuable. They play an active role in our communication with our city residents. How happy we are that we worked shoulder to shoulder with our valuable headmen. We listened to the demands and complaints of our people and moved forward together for a solution. In addition to our field work, we held meetings to respond to the needs of the neighborhoods. We aim to hold larger meetings of these in metropolitan cities. Muğla belongs to all of us.”

He will continue to meet with the headmen he met in Aras, Menteşe, Yatağan and Ortaca on a district and regional basis.

Bitter Herb Festival

Bodrum Mayor and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Ahmet Aras, who participated in the 5th Bitter Herb Festival this year, said, “This vegetation is not bushes or twigs. "They are the healing herbs of Hippocrates," he said.

Talking about herbs that grow in nature, such as bitter herb and foxglove, Aras said, “All of these, of course, are a micro region with vegetation that has grown in these lands and mountains for thousands of years. In fact, Hippocrates became the father of medicine with the medicines he made from the herbs he collected in these lands thanks to this biodiversity. "Hippocrates is another scientist born in these lands," he said.
